That was pure adrenaline. He was shook so hard that his body went straight fight/flight mode. It allowed him to hyper focus and his motor control was dialed up to 11. His years of training and practice allowed his body to perform every movement exactly how he wanted. He was so deep in "the zone" he probably had the shakes when he finished the event. Good on him for continuing after that fall. He's a fighter, and that's what being a competitor is all about.

What is a real life application for a gymnast other than being a performer for a circus or fitness?
