Carnival is better if you wanna have fun. They make their own homemade pizzas all day long plus the dinner is better and more entertaining. When I traveled Royal Caribbean, it was nice, but I was ready to go home after the second day. With carnival I didn’t wanna leave.

Bro, I don’t know what you’re talking about on Royal‘s newest world’s largest cruise ships They have literal giant buffets and like a million restaurants choose from and a dining room and they also have a kids buffet and then they have multiple food courts and other restaurants around the ship and only the specialty ones you have to pay for. and like you said you went on an older ship so it would make sense but the rooms are also really nice now and they just have bigger ships in general and provides a nicer experience

In my opinion yes royal wins 70% of the time but if your saying casual dining and overall budget friendliness carnival wins but I only go on mid sizes since there are less crowds less fights

I've been on both; but I'm sailing more on Royal due to their superior loyality program. Carnival has bettter free food options; especially Guy's Burger, which is outstanding!

We started out sailing on Carnival back in the late 90's. I think we did 3 total and 1 was free, I won it. THEN we found RC in 2005 and we have never looked back. We love RC, Celebrity, and are about to do Princess. Carnival is just not for us (and yes, there were 2 different fights back in the 90's when we were onboard). 🙄
