  1. The interior of the Wynn Las Vegas is proof that an extravagant budget is no substitute for imagination or originality. And judging by his house and apartment, this isn’t an isolated failure of creativity; it’s his entire design philosophy. Different spaces, same painfully predictable aesthetic. Everything looks expensive, yet nothing feels particularly imaginative, original, or distinguished. It’s remarkable how much money can be spent creating something so utterly ordinary.

  2. SO SICK OF THESE GAY MEN AND THEIR HUSBANDS. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO HETEROSEXUAL COUPLES ON THIS CHANNEL. THIRD ONE I HAVE SEEN TODAY…. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO FLAUNT THEIR UNDESIRED LIFE STYLE. HOMEWORTHY SHAKE YOUR HEAD, THOSE OF US WHO LIKE GOOD DECOR ARE NOT ALL QUEER.

  3. I do not know what is more amazing and interesting the interior design, the collections , or the encyclopedic lecture on design , furniture, textiles, and glass from the 15th century to the most modern and seemingly other end of the spectrum to the Wynn properties. I am in the process of building at the moment and would be so grateful if you could give us the exact benjamin moore navajo paint it is exactly what we are looking for. Here in rural Oaxaca one can not just go to the local BM outlet . Thanks for the video so impressive. I once told my son that an education was not about employment opportunities rather to facilitate the full enjoyment of one's life.

  4. Now THIS is when Home Worthy gets it right: no offense to anyone, but just because there is a story behind every home doesn’t mean it’s worthy of an international audience. I understand validating everyone who think they are designers, but at the same time, it comes off as if you’re trying to delegitimize or cheapen those who are true masters of the art when you put them all on the same level. I mean the fact that every home has a story is the very reason you shouldn’t put just anyone who applies on Home Worthy just for their story alone; having a story is not unique enough for a show that is very visually based. Honestly, unless they have a special gift of design that makes you drool , there is no need to watch strangers tediously walk from room to room, giving the backstory on every tchotchke and book they’ve ever acquired; it’s painfully boring and I click off. Yes I’m just one person with an opinion , but I’ve clicked off over half of your content for this reason. I think we are too busy trying to validate everyone that we actually disrespect those who are masters of the field; now, that’s just my opinion. Don’t come after me. Quality versus quantity—not personal or sentimental value (that’s subjective) but tv or social media value. Given what I’ve seen sometimes on this show, I have no doubt I could make the home worthy show easier than it was for me to pass the radiation therapy board. Don’t believe me? go to my page and scroll down to some of my photos or videos that show a photo of one of my rooms in my home. I mean no harm when I say this, but I can’t be the only one who feels this way. 🙏🏽

ANYWAY, Roger Thomas is one of my favorite designers. I need him to live to be at least 300 years old because the world needs his vision and I need him to mentor me 😉 he is a treasure. I think I am a split between Roger Thomas, Nate Burkes and Tara Shaw when it comes to my personal style.

I was looking at his painting that he said he believes is Flemish. I think I agree because Flemish 15th-century art is my favorite art period, and I’ve come to know it well. It was then that they started to use brilliant use of colors and details. They also understood the linear perspective, compared to the medieval era of art where everything looked one dimensional like everyone was on a stage. They also started to depict both religion and everyday life, so that was a time in art I live because it captured the pivotal moment society started to change and modernize.

The Arnolfini Wedding by Jan Van Eyck is my favorite Florentine piece of art!!!

  5. One of the very best home tours on Homeworthy! This apartment is beyond stunning. And Roger Thomas is so eloquent and so deeply informed about art and design….I could listen to him for hours.

  6. He could afford to live anyplace in the world but he chose Venice where they pump raw sewage directly into the water. He did a wonderful job at renovating that apartment not everything to my taste seems like every statue and all the paintings hanging on the walls are of men, it is to his taste not a clients so that is expected. I am surprised he doesn't have a pop up television or at least hide the wires that are exposed under it.
