5. 35:04 – California sheephead (fish – the foreground). Kelp forest, only dangerous to just certified beginners. Its real easy to counter entanglement. Kelp is brittle. Bend it a sharp angle and it breaks easily. No knife required. I used to play "kelp monster", by wrapping myself in kelp. Breaking it off, and swimming over to freak out my dive buddies. It only startles them for a few seconds. It doesn't harm the kelp, as it grows back in days.

37. I live in Michigan the Great lakes state. Michigan lakes are like inland oceans.

38. The Erie Canal provided for passage of the rather small canal ships of the 19th century from Lake Erie to the port of New York. This was before the railway age. Today, the Erie canal is mostly used by pleasure craft. There is a different canal, the Welland Canal, which allows ships to bypass Niagara Falls to reach Lake Ontario. It originated in the early 1830's. It has been successively enlarged since, the latest in 1934, and takes ocean bound ships.
